Sara Mitchell

Sara Mitchell is an American-born Jew who Jesus found, and was called to marry a Scottish-born Presbyterian Youth Leader. Sara is currently Executive Director of UCOM UrbanServ Inc., mother of two teenage boys, and still navigating what the expectations of a church leader’s wife entails. It has been 24 years since Jesus promised Sara that He would have her back. So, for almost twenty years, she has led teenage girls and women, connecting Biblical stories into today’s social context. Through song writing, teaching, and leading worship, Sara remembers tht faith comes where wit and reason fail, and how amazing the adventure is to be a fragile and absurd human.
