LOCAL MISSION PARTNERS

UCOM

UCOM exists to ensure no one in our neighborhood goes hungry. We partners with UCOM by holding food drives, helping to stock the pantry and distributing food. Fill a grocery bag for our November Food Drive. Click here to learn more.

San Marco Church

San Marco Church (formerly Swaim UMC) is loving their neighrbors on the Southbank and north San Marco through free dinners, hot showers, and clean clothes for homeless individuals on Wednesday evenings, Bible study and brews, and other nontraditional ways to connect in the name of Jesus. They always welcome dinner helpers. Click here to learn about how to get involved.

HAPI - Hendricks Avenue Partnership Initiative

Southside is the faith-based partner for Hendricks Avenue Elementary School. Through this partnership, we provide afterschool tutoring, Back to School Backpacks, Angel Tree, Friday Take-Home Food For Families and more. Middle and High School voluteers are our star tutors!  Click here to learn about HAPI and how to get involved.

Missing Voices Project

City Rescue Mission is working with Flagler College on the Missing Voices Project. The Missing Voices Project is about identifying youth on the margins of ministry and helping them get plugged in! Southside UMC is specifically focused on getting youth with IDD (intellectual differences and disabilities) connected and truly integrated into the life and body of the church. We are in the early design stages of this project but feel invigorated by God's calling to reach and live in ministry with our friends with IDD.  If you're interested in learning more or getting involved in the Missing Voices Project, contact Sarabeth Soule
