ADVENTURE WEEK IS COMING!!

 

Exciting News! An exciting Adventure Week Circus Dog Show presented by Menestrelli Entertainment, LLC. This incredible experience will be held Sunday, June 4th, at 11:00 am in the FLC!

 

Make plans to join us for church and stay for the dog show. Be sure to pick up your Adventure Week VBS packets too! 

Watch in awe as these extraordinary pups conquer stairs, perform somersaults, and showcase a range of fantastic family tricks! We can't wait to see you there!! 

 

CIRCUS CIRCUS... Everyone loves the CIRCUS!

The Southside UMC Adventure Week VBS Circus is coming to town. 

June 5th-9th, daily 9am-12:15am. 

COME ONE, COME ALL!

 

All current PreK-3 through current 5th Grade students are welcome to join us under THE BIG TOP for an amazing week of fun, learning, outdoor games, art & science, music, circus skills training, snacks, skits, wacky fun and more!

 

There’s nothing quite like the circus! We can have a similar excitement as we read some of the amazing, interesting, and powerful stories throughout the Bible. All these incredible stories help tell us more about God, who He is, and point us to the greatest man to ever walk this earth, Jesus. Kids will learn that the greatest decision we can make is to let Jesus guide and direct our lives.

YoungThis is the Sign up for ALL EARLY DROP OFF and for EXTENDED DAY for PreK3 through 5th Grade campers at Adventure Week VBS. This is also the Sign up for Nursery for babies/toddlers and “Jr. Adventure Week VBS" (older 2’s Nursery Care Camp) for the children of Adult Volunteers (while the adult volunteer is on campus.)

Have kids? No worries, we've got you covered. Southside offers programs for kids from birth through 5th grade. Your children will be in a safe environment where they will learn about Jesus and have a fun time doing it. 

 

During our 10:00am Unity Service in the Sanctuary children attend worship with their families and are invited to be dismissed for Children's Church just before the sermon. At Children's Church, we enjoy a "kid-sized" sermon, learn scripture and more. Following Worship, you will pickup your children from the Playground.  

 

If you attend the 10:00am Service in the Sanctuary, check in your children at the playground before the service.

 

For all of our services nursery is available for children, birth - 3 years old and professionally staffed by loving, experienced, trained and background screened adults.

YOUR FIRST VISIT

Visiting us for the first time? No fear! Our friendly Greeting Team will lead you in your next steps when you arrive. We will meet your family and give you all the information you need about Children's Church, Kids Life Groups, nursery and more.  We can't wait to meet you!

SAFETY

Volunteers and staff at Southside are background screened and trained to create an atmosphere where families can be confident that their children are always nurtured and well cared for. We follow a detailed Child Protection Policy designed to keep all children in our care safe at all times.

WHAT WE TEACH

Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and His love for them. The teaching is interactive and utilizes multiple approaches for different learning styles. Weekly kids teaching is aligned with the sermon topic and the adult Life Groups so everyone is on the same page. Our goal is for kids to have fun and understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives.
